Xuân Nghi -

Binh Thuan province directed to propose link with Lam Dong province.

Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh has instructed south-central Binh Thuan province to conduct studies and propose that authorized agencies invest in the construction of an expressway linking it with the central highlands’ Lam Dong province, to boost regional connectivity, trade exchanges, and tourism development.

The project will form part of the province’s infrastructure development under provincial master planning in the 2021-2030 period with a vision to 2050, which has been approved by the government.

Construction of the Vinh Hao (Binh Thuan) - Lien Khuong (Lam Dong) Expressway must also be in line with road network development planning in the 2021-2030 period with a vision to 2050.

Under the provincial master planning, Binh Thuan is to focus on upgrading national highways and provincial roads while building new routes to utilize the province’s potential and meet the needs of the industry and tourism sectors.

The province will also promote the development of railways, seaports, and aviation to meet rising demand in cargo and passenger transport.
