Northern Hai Phong city is expected to open 15 new industrial parks in the future, so is paying significant attention to building housing for workers. The city has recently granted investment certificates to two projects to build worker housing in the Dinh Vu Industrial Park at the Dinh Vu - Cat Hai Economic Zone, to accommodate 10,000 people.

The Prime Minister has approved the task of general planning to build the Ninh Chu national tourist area in south-central Ninh Thuan province to 2045. It will be a national tourist area, with a focus on tourism activities and exploiting diverse marine values and ecological landscape values. The planning area is about 12,200 ha, of which land covers 10,200 ha and the sea 2,000 ha.

Central Quang Binh province plans to use nearly 89,000 sq m for a multi-functional area including a beachfront, a resort, and a mixed-use area for shopping, services, and hotels, with a capacity of catering to 5,000 people. It aims to welcome 2 million tourists this year.

Not only street shops but also shopping centers have been forced to accept the dire situation created by a shortage of customers. But according to research by Savills, many luxury retailers in city centers still intend to boost operations, most notably in Hanoi.

Southern Ba Ria-Vung Tau province will auction seven land plots with a total area of over 228 ha this year and expects to collect nearly VND12 trillion ($524.7 million). The list includes the Cu Lao Ben Dinh ecological urban area, on 110 ha. This new and modern urban area has mixed functions, including housing, commercial services, office space, an international passenger port, an amusement park, and tourism services.

Ho Chi Minh City leaders have sent an urgent petition proposing the Prime Minister give approval for the city to develop and issue a land price adjustment coefficient in accordance with the actual situation in the city, which will then be submitted to the Ho Chi Minh City People’s Council for approval.
