Low-carbon agricultural value chain project to go ahead

The “Developing a low-carbon agricultural value chain” project is expected to be implemented over six years from 2023 to 2029, with a total estimated cost of $390 million. A loan of $300 million will come from the International Bank of Reconstruction and Development (IBRD), with counterpart capital from the Vietnamese Government of $60 million and a grant of $30 million.

National Credit Rating Improvement Project approved

Deputy Prime Minister Le Minh Khai signed Decision No. 412/QD-TTg on March 31 approving the “National Credit Rating Improvement Project by 2030”. Targets include Vietnam’s credit rating being “Baa3”, “BBB”, or higher, up from the current “Ba3” and “BB”. Average annual GDP growth in the period is to be about 7 per cent.

Q1 State budget revenue reaches 33% of annual estimate

According to the Ministry of Finance, total State budget revenue reached nearly VND450 trillion ($19.7 billion) in the first quarter, equal to nearly 32 per cent of the annual estimate, of which revenue from imports and exports stood at VND107.3 trillion, or 30.48 per cent of the estimate. State budget revenue for the year as a whole is estimated at around VND1.4 quadrillion ($61.5 billion), of which revenue from trade will account for 14.1 per cent and from crude oil 2 per cent. The pandemic has been controlled around the country and production and business activities are recovering well.

Over 68% of MoF's online public services at Levels 3 and 4

The Ministry of Finance (MoF) has determined that providing online public services is a top priority in building e-government and the digital government. The ministry has completed the connection and integration of 355 of 518 online public services at Levels 3 and 4 on the National Public Service Portal, or 68.53 per cent. The ministry has set a target of, by 2025, 80 per cent of administrative procedures being processed entirely online.

Held within the framework of Binance Blockchain Week Dubai 2022 from March 27 to 30 in Dubai, the Vietnam Blockchain Expoverse had the goal of promoting the benefits of blockchain technology so that Vietnam can make appropriate socio-economic advancements in the new period, and of supporting business, innovation, and entrepreneurship. According to Mr. Tran Dinh, CEO of AlphaTrue, Vietnam has abundant human resources in blockchain.
