At the national online conference between the Government and local authorities held on July 3, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh stressed that Vietnam’s socio-economic situation has shown steady improvement in the first half of 2025.
The streamlined government will have 14 ministries and three ministry-level agencies, a reduction of five; and five Government-affiliated agencies, down by three.
During its two-day meeting , the Party Central Committee unanimously approved proposals to revise the socio-economic development plans for 2025, aiming for a growth rate of at least 8%, with double-digit expansion expected from 2026 to 2030.
