In terms of socio-economic perspective, Ha Tinh province in central Vietnam has many potentials and outstanding advantages, as outlined in its infrastructure, transport and urban development planning, according to Mr. Nguyen Duy Lam, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee at a meeting with a working group from Pacific Construction Group, held on October 27.
Mr. Lam said that these are areas where the Pacific Construction Group has significant expertise and experience in executing large-scale projects globally. The province stands ready to cooperate and provide maximum support within the legal framework for businesses exploring investment opportunities in the locality, the official added.
At the meeting, provincial leaders proposed that the group consider investing in key projects, including the Vung Ang – Cha Lo expressway, the Vung Ang – Tan Ap – Mu Gia railway, and industrial zones and clusters, which had been included in the national master plan approved by the Prime Minister. These projects are seen as drivers for development, expansion of regional connectivity and socio-economic growth.
The province also committed to assigning local departments and sectors to closely coordinate with and support the investor in the process of field surveys, and completion of feasibility study reports and investment procedures. This collaboration will enable businesses to quickly access available land fund, planning, and infrastructure.
The Group's representative also expressed an interest in further exploring Ha Tinh's development potential, particularly in strategic areas like the Vung Ang Economic Zone.
The Group's representative praised Ha Tinh's open approach and investment environment. The Group affirmed that if given the opportunity to cooperate, it would implement projects with commitments to quality, modern technology, and construction progress, aiming for sustainable and long-term effectiveness.
Following the meeting, the delegation will conduct field surveys at the Vung Ang Economic Zone and other potential areas to thoroughly assess infrastructure conditions and transportation connectivity. This is considered an important initial step for both parties to move towards specific cooperation agreements.
