Hanoi disbursed more than VND44.4 trillion ($1.68 billion) in public investment capital this year, as of October 20, according to the municipal authorities.
The figure represents 41.5% of the city’s annual target and 51% of the plan set by the Government.
The total public investment capital allocated for the capital city this year is estimated at nearly VND87.7 trillion ($3.33 billion).
To achieve the set target, Chairman of the Hanoi People’s Committee Tran Sy Thanh has urged relevant departments, sectors, and local authorities to flexibly allocate and adjust capital plans, address obstacles, and accelerate construction of key projects such as Ring Road No. 4, and National Highways No. 6 and No. 21.
