The feasibility study for the Van Phong - Nha Trang Expressway project will be completed and submitted to the Ministry of Transport (MoT) for approval in June. The project is 84 km long and has total investment of over VND12.9 trillion ($566.5 million). It will help the area north of Van Phong and the Van Phong Economic Zone in Khanh Hoa province become an economic center of the country.

The Chau Doc - Can Tho - Soc Trang Expressway, which stretches 188 km in length and has investment of about VND45 trillion ($1.96 billion), is being consulted on by members of the State Acceptance Council for appraisal and is expected to be submitted to the National Assembly (NA) in May for approval.

A project building Dinh Khao Bridge across the Co Chien River and connecting the Mekong Delta provinces of Ben Tre and Vinh Long, with total investment of nearly VND2.5 trillion ($109.1 million), has been submitted to the Prime Minister for approval by the two localities. Construction is expected from 2022 to 2025, in the form of a public-private partnership (PPP).

In the presence of State President Nguyen Xuan Phuc during his State visit to Singapore, CapitaLand Development (CLD) and the Bac Giang Provincial People’s Committee signed an MoU on investing in the first urban - industrial - logistics project in Vietnam, with total committed investment of $1 billion. The project is on more than 400 ha will help form a flexible supply chain network for the northern key economic region.

According to the Ministry of Transport (MoT), nearly VND2.58 trillion ($109.58 million) from medium-term public investment capital in the 2021-2025 period will be set aside for two key projects in the Mekong Delta’s Ben Tre province: renovating and upgrading National Highway No. 57, an important route in the Delta, and building the Rach Mieu 2 Bridge connecting Tien Giang and Ben Tre provinces.

Ho Chi Minh City will auction nearly 2,500 ha of land along Ring Road No. 3 to secure more capital for construction of the road, which will start next year. Under the plan, the 89-km project in the city and neighboring Dong Nai, Binh Duong, and Long An provinces will be completed in 2025.
