Frasers Property Vietnam, one of the country’s leading diversified real estate developers, has worked with SPX Express (SPX), a leading logistics partner in Southeast Asia, Taiwan (China), and Brazil, to break ground on SPX’s automated sorting center at Industrial Center Yen My in northern Hung Yen province.
The facility, SPX’s largest automated sorting center in Southeast Asia, was designed by Frasers Property and will introduce a pioneering 170,000 sq m two-story cross-dock logistics facility - Vietnam’s first built-to-suit development of its kind. Featuring 158 docks connected to over 700 sorting destinations, the innovative design enables fully independent traffic flows across two levels. This allows efficient simultaneous operations and reduces processing time.
“We are pleased to once again partner with SPX Express in this significant collaboration,” said Mr. Edwin Tan, Deputy CEO of Frasers Property Vietnam and Managing Director, Industrial & Logistics (Southeast Asia). “Frasers Property’s proven track record in Vietnam has helped many multinationals establish and sustainably grow their manufacturing and supply chain footprint in the market.”
He added that a built-to-suit project of the scale of the sorting center is a testament to Frasers Property Vietnam’s commitment to deliver best-in-class solutions for its customers, helping them scale efficiently and capture new opportunities within the region.

Set for completion in the fourth quarter of 2026, with operations commencing from 2027, the center will be able to process up to 7 million parcels daily, becoming SPX’s largest automated sorting center in Southeast Asia. Together with SPX’s extensive network of branches across 34 cities and provinces in Vietnam, along with 20 large-scale sorting centers with advanced automation, the new facility further reaffirms the company’s commitment to continuous innovation, ensuring faster, more reliable, and sustainable delivery services across the region.
The breaking of ground follows a strategic collaboration signed between the two companies earlier this year, marking their shared commitment to advancing modern and sustainable logistics infrastructure in Vietnam.
The Hung Yen facility marks a significant milestone in SPX’s journey to strengthening its presence and ensuring sustained growth in Vietnam. “It reflects our commitment to building a faster, smarter, and more resilient logistics network that meets the evolving needs of consumers and businesses nationwide,” Ms. Quyen Tran, Director of SPX Express Vietnam, said. “Made possible through close collaboration with Frasers Property and strong support from government partners, this new center underscores our commitment to building a more connected and sustainable digital economy in Vietnam.”
This follows the successful completion and handover of Frasers Property and SPX’s 106,000 sq m logistics facility in Binh Duong, Ho Chi Minh City, further strengthening the long-term partnership and underscoring both companies’ commitment to expanding Vietnam’s logistics network across key economic regions.
