Under the master plan for the 2021-2030 period and vision to 2050 for northern Bac Ninh province, which is to be submitted to the Prime Minister for appraisal shortly, by 2030, the province is to be the leading center in Vietnam in processing, manufacturing, and hi-tech services. It currently has the eighth-largest economy in the country and is the center of Vietnam’s electronics industry.
The Master Plan on the Development of the National Airport Network is to be submitted to the Appraisal Council for consideration and to the Prime Minister for approval in October.
On September 14, at a conference to appraise the national master plan for the 2021-2030 period and vision to 2050, chaired by Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh, Minister of Planning and Investment Nguyen Chi Dung pointed out that the national master plan targets four key tasks to create breakthroughs in infrastructure development.
Speaking at the Conference on the Promulgation of the Mekong Delta Regional Master Plan and Investment Promotion for the 2021-2030 Period, held in Can Tho city on June 21, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh directed efforts on a range of important matters for the region’s socio-economic development. He called for focus on enhancing transport and logistics infrastructure, clean energy infrastructure, renewable energy, digital transformation infrastructure, combating climate change, improving the business and investment environment to attract investors, and creating breakthroughs in administrative reform.
