Nguyễn Thuấn -

IP in north-central province to cover 700 ha.

The Thanh Hoa Provincial People’s Council has approved a plan to build a high-tech industrial park (IP) in the north-central province’s Hoang Hoa district on a total area of over 733 ha.

The Phu Quy IP will give priority to the development of high-tech industry, manufacturing, machinery, pharmaceuticals, and the food industry.

It is estimated to generate 36,000-58,500 jobs.

The IP is located in an area considered the intersection of key transport routes for economic zones, seaports, and airports with the potential for industrial development, especially light and high-tech industries.

Under provincial planning in the 2021-2030 period with a vision to 2045, Thanh Hoa will have 115 industrial clusters on a total area of over 5,200 ha.

It targets having 126 industrial clusters after 2030 on a total of nearly 5,900 ha.
