According to a detailed plan for Vietnam's seaport clusters for the 2021-2030 period, with a vision to 2050, the Cai Mep terminal area within Ba Ria-Vung Tau seaport will become a gateway port and international transshipment hub.

The transformation is essential to boost production efficiency, cut greenhouse gas emissions, and meet environmental protection goals set by the northern province.

To date, Ninh Binh has completed 2,036 units, accounting for nearly 46% of the annual target.

Total investment estimated at over VND12.75 trillion (over $480 million).

Long Thanh Airport project (first phase) expected to be completed by December this year.
