The Da Nang Port Joint Stock Company is the first in Vietnam’s seaport network to successfully apply smartgate. Businesses importing and exporting goods through the Port can conduct procedures anywhere, shorten delivery times, and save costs on printing, record keeping, and certification as all information is digitized.
The 160-ha Son My Port in Ham Tan district, south-central Binh Thuan province, will receive investment to allow it to berth 150,000-ton ships for key local projects. According to the Vietnam Marine Department, the project is in line with the master plan for Vietnam’s seaport network in the 2021-2030 period and vision to 2050.
To attract investors and develop the socio-economy, northern Bac Giang province has proposed investment in a series of transport infrastructure projects, such as Hanoi’s Ring Road No. 5 and an inland port and logistics center to leverage the potential of international rail transit.
