Ba Ria-Vung Tau allocates capital for site clearance in Bien Hoa - Vung Tau Expressway
The Ba Ria-Vung Tau Provincial People’s Council has allocated VND670 billion ($29.08 million) from the provincial budget for site clearance compensation for the Bien Hoa - Vung Tau Expressway project. The Expressway will be 53.7 km in length, with total investment in the first phase of more than VND17.8 trillion ($772.89 million).
VinFast signs charging station deal in US
After announcing the construction of an electric vehicle (EV) factory in the US on March 29, VinFast signed a cooperative deal on April 13 with Electrify America, the owner of fast charging stations in the country, to provide charging solutions and mobile app integration for EVs. The deal will contribute to accelerating the global EV revolution.
Infrastructure development project in Tuyen Quang given go-ahead
A project to develop infrastructure in northern Tuyen Quang province to adapt to climate change and support production has been approved, with total investment of VND1 trillion ($43.4 million), including Japanese ODA loans of about $34.1 million. The project will be implemented from 2022 to 2025 in six districts and is expected to support the lives of ethnic minorities in mountainous and midland areas.
Transport ministry to accelerate disbursement
Minister of Transport Nguyen Van The has said the Ministry is expected to disburse about VND3.8 trillion ($166.2 million) in April; 5 per cent higher than the national average. By the end of the second quarter, its disbursement rate will be 10 per cent higher than the national average.
State President: Key role for HCMC's High-Tech Agricultural Park
State President Nguyen Xuan Phuc said on April 12 that Ho Chi Minh City’s Hi-Tech Agricultural Park must play a role in promoting the city’s high-tech agriculture and lead the agricultural transformation process in the Mekong Delta. The Park implemented over 408 scientific research projects and technology and incubation projects in the 2010-2021 period, and completed more than 100 technical processes for application transfer.
