North-central Thanh Hoa province saw positive results in its digital transformation process in the first nine months of 2022. Its public service portal and electronic one-stop system provide 149 level-3 public services and 725 level-4 public services, while it has integrated 863 level-3 and level-4 public services into the National Public Service Portal. All government agencies in Thanh Hoa are using electronic authentication services.
Addressing a ceremony marking the first National Digital Transformation Day on October 10, organized by the Ministry of Information and Communications on the same day, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh emphasized five key messages to effectively implement national digital transformation: focus on perfecting mechanisms and policies; increase the rate of administrative procedures handled online; synchronously implement solutions to develop and improve the quality of digital human resources; accelerate the introduction of production and business activities into the digital environment; and increase communications on the benefits of digital transformation.
A recent digital transformation conference heard that the share of the digital economy in GDP reached 10.41 per cent in June, up from 9.6 per cent at the end of 2021.
