Despite the impact of natural disasters, Thanh Hoa province in central Vietnam continued to record positive export growth in October and the first 10 months of 2025.
According to a report from the Provincial Department of Industry and Trade, the province's total export value in October was estimated to reach $591.1 million, an increase of 2.9% compared to the previous month and equivalent to 99.7% of the same period in 2024.
For the first 10 months of 2025, the province's total export turnover was estimated at nearly $5.9 billion, an increase of 18.2% compared to the same period in 2024 and equivalent to 73.3% of the annual plan.
A representative from the department commented that these results reflect the local businesses' good adaptability to fluctuations in the global market. Businesses have actively sought new markets and effectively utilized the new-generation free trade agreements (FTAs) that Vietnam has signed.
Recently, the department has coordinated with various units and businesses to organize numerous activities supporting production and export. Many training programs and consultations on rules of origin, guidance on accessing markets in the European Union (EU), Japan, South Korea, etc., have been regularly organized, helping businesses in the province grasp technical, environmental, and labor regulations in new-generation FTAs.
Additionally, trade promotion and product advertising activities have also been actively boosted by the province.
